Job Description

Our client in NC is actively seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This is a unique teaching position, requiring dedication to overseeing and precepting 1st through 3rd year residents and medical students during 8a-5p shifts. You will also be responsible for attending faculty meetings, completing monthly resident evaluations, and providing comprehensive Family Medicine care for a diverse range of patient conditions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee and work with residents while precepting patients, typically 6-8 residents per day.
  • Engage in significant teaching with 1st through 3rd year residents within an outpatient residency clinic setting.
  • Attend weekly faculty meetings via Webex to discuss resident and clinic concerns.
  • Complete monthly evaluations on residents to critique medical knowledge and professionalism.
  • Precept and teach medical students rotating at the site.
  • Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care for a range of cases including hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, colds, flu, physicals, scratches, sprains, chronic issues, and check-ups.
