Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in PA

Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment starting Jul 20, 2026. This role involves providing essential care through 7:30am - 4pm shifts, focusing on sick call, infirmary rounds, chronic and preventative care procedures, and annual physicals.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sick Call and infirmary rounding
• Running chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
• Preventative care clinics
• Annual Physicals
• May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
• Trauma triage
• Charting notes
• Med refills
• Med non-compliance with patients
• Managing bread and butter primary care cases
• Addressing chronic care cases (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.)
• Conducting preventative care cases (annual physical exams – over 50 yearly, under 50 every 3 years)
• Responding to sick call (runny nose, headaches, back pain, etc.)

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
• Ability to perform sutures and splinting is a plus, not required.
• Shifts are 7:30am - 4pm.
