Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in SC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an engaging 60-day assignment in South Carolina. This role begins on Nov 9, 2026, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful Physician will be responsible for patient evaluations, charting, and supervising nurse practitioners on staff, managing a diverse caseload of general primary care needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate and timely charting of patient records
• Supervise nurse practitioners on staff
• Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 17-18 patients
• Provide care for new patients, sick visits, and chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
• Handle ADHD management
• Coordinate referrals for specialty care, including orthopedics, endocrinology, and rheumatology
• Order and interpret imaging and laboratory tests
