Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Washington

Our client in Washington is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 134-day assignment. This Chief Medical Officer role involves a blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities, with shifts available Monday through Friday or four 10-hour days, typically from 7 AM to 6 PM. The Physician will lead a team, collaborate with clinic management, and provide comprehensive family practice care including pediatric, well-woman, and minor mental health services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform 40% administrative and 60% clinical duties in a Chief Medical Officer position.
• Oversee 2 Nurse Practitioners and 2 Physicians.
• Collaborate with the clinic director and CEO on administrative tasks.
• Provide comprehensive family practice care for common illnesses like cold, cough, and flu.
• Manage a patient mix with approximately one-third pediatric cases.
• Recognize and comfortably address minor mental health cases.
• Perform well-woman and child checks.
• Handle complex cases, dedicating 30 minutes per patient.
