Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterology - Advanced [EUS/ERCP] Needed in Texas

We are seeking an Advanced (EUS/ERCP) Gastroenterologist Physician for a 40-day assignment in Texas, starting Nov 5, 2024. The schedule involves an estimated one week per month, with Monday-Friday 8am-5pm shifts and applicable weeknight and weekend 24-hour call. This role focuses on performing scheduled colonoscopies, managing inpatient consults, and executing a range of advanced gastroenterological procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies.
• Manage inpatient consults.
• Conduct Small Bowel biopsies.
• Perform Lower GI endoscopies.
• Execute Flexible and Rigid Sigmoidoscopies.
• Conduct Colonoscopies, including those with biopsy and excision of polyp.
• Utilize Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform Liver biopsies.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call, 7a-7a, with scopes during the day and inpatient rounds
• Patients per day: 5-7
• LOA: 40 Days
