Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in Kentucky

Our client in Kentucky is actively seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist Physician to undertake a critical 90-day locum tenens assignment. This esteemed position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring continuity of service and high-quality treatment for individuals requiring specialized hematology and oncology expertise. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our client's mission to deliver exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Perform patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Meditech EHR
• Patients per day: 1-2
• LOA: 90 Days
