Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in Kentucky

Our client in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment. This full-time role involves a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, with one day per week of out-of-house call for hospital consults, ensuring no night or weekend duties. The Physician will focus on evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with both oncology and hematology conditions, providing infusions and consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a patient caseload consisting of 70% oncology and 30% hematology.
• Provide infusions and consultations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients, developing and overseeing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Review laboratory results, imaging, pathology reports, and monitor treatment response.
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
• Manage clinic patients, seeing approximately 10-12 per day with potential for new patient intake.
• Fulfill one day per week of hospital consult call, without night or weekend call duties.
