Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in New York

We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for a 4-day assignment with our client in New York. This role involves managing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy cases in an outpatient clinic setting. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an 8-hour workday and no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy for patients.
• Provide care primarily in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Oversee care for 18-20 patients per day.
• Collaborate effectively with a comprehensive oncology team.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Hematology, Medical Oncology
• Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Inpatient or Outpatient: Outpatient (Clinic Only) with occasional inpatient consults
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients Per Day: 18-20 patients per day
• LOA: 4 Days
• Staffing Mix: Oncology certified APPs, Radiation oncologist, another Hem/Onc physician, RNs, MAs, and front desk team/scheduling
