Locum Tenens Physician - Hospitalist Needed in Massachusetts

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 90-day assignment. The schedule involves 7 days a week, with shifts from 7:30a to 7:30p and 7:30p to 7:30am. This inpatient role focuses on hospitalist medicine, managing 13-15 patients per day during day shifts and 8-12 admissions per night, with no procedures required and no call.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care
• Manage a patient load of 13-15 individuals per day shift
• Oversee 8-12 admissions during night shifts
• Perform duties without procedures
• Collaborate with APPs and support staff while also working independently

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Hospital Medicine
• EMR: Epic
• Inpatient setting
• No Call Required, but available if preferred
• Patients per day volume: 13-15 patients per day / Nights: 8 – 12 admissions per night
• LOA: 90 Days
• Staffing Mix: Will be working both solo and with APPs/Support staff
