Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in California

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment in California. This full-time outpatient clinic role operates Monday through Friday with 5-8 hour shifts. The Physician will manage a busy patient panel focusing on typical primary care and internal medicine cases, including cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertension, along with performing pap smears and wellness exams. The position requires comfort with an older patient population and serving a significant number of Spanish-speaking patients, supported by translators and Spanish-speaking MAs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a diverse patient panel, including typical primary care and internal medicine cases.
• Address common ailments such as cold, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertension.
• Perform pap smears and wellness exams for patients.
• Provide comprehensive care for an older patient population.
• Serve a significant population of Spanish-speaking patients with the aid of translators and Spanish-speaking MAs.
• Handle a high patient volume in an outpatient clinic environment.
