Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in California

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in California. The client offers a flexible full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm. The Physician will supervise two midlevels, providing routine check-ups, preventive care, chronic disease management, and treating acute illnesses in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise two midlevels (NP/PA)
• Conduct routine check-ups and provide preventive care
• Perform annual physical exams, vaccinations, and health screenings
• Offer wellness advice to patients
• Manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, and heart disease
• Treat acute illnesses including common colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, and minor injuries

• Patients per day: 17-21
