Job Description

Our client in PA is actively seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a 3-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Jul 17, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, focusing on critical STEMI and non-invasive call duties, alongside inpatient rounding responsibilities. The physician will manage urgent cath needs and contribute to a busy service supported by Advanced Practice Providers for daily patient rounding.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour STEMI and Non Invasive call, including out-of-house call.
• Cover Interventional and Non Invasive call on specific assignment dates.
• Handle STEMI call and urgent cath needs, particularly on weekends where non-invasive rounding is covered by others.
• Support day shift inpatient rounding, often with APP assistance, managing daily volumes typically between 15-20 patients.
