Job Description

Our client in Arizona is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 5-day assignment starting Aug 6, 2026. This role involves clinic work Monday to Friday with flexible hours, combined with 24-hour out-of-house call. The Physician will focus on bread and butter women's health, managing outpatient care, IUD procedures, and high-risk OB patients, including deliveries and C-sections.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide clinic coverage Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM.
  • Offer 24-hour out-of-house call coverage.
  • Manage bread and butter women's health cases in an outpatient setting, including follow-up and new patient consultations.
  • Perform IUD insertions and removals, contraception management, pap smears, and ultrasounds.
  • Be comfortable seeing high-risk OB patients.
  • Take call for deliveries and C-sections as required.
  • Understand that there may be days with combined clinic work and on-call responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform GYN elective surgeries such as Colpocleisis, Coloplasty, cancer related surgery, Tuboplasty, Uterosacral, and Uterovaginal procedures is a bonus, though not a requirement for the locum.
