Our client in California is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 140-day assignment starting Dec 20, 2024. This role involves providing comprehensive 24-hour call coverage across various blocks, managing high and low risk deliveries, performing c-sections, ultrasounds, and conducting various gynecological surgeries. Physicians will also review fetal tracings remotely.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage high and low risk deliveries
  • Perform c-sections and ultrasounds
  • Conduct various gynecological surgeries, including IUD procedures, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and cryosurgery
  • Provide patient follow-ups
  • Review fetal tracings remotely

Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • EMR: e-MDs
  • Setting: Call Only
  • Call Schedule: 24-hour Out of House Call shifts
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 40 deliveries per month
  • LOA: 140 Days
  • Staffing Mix: Established RNs, MDs, Anesthetists
