Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Missouri

Our client is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a 120-day assignment in Missouri. This role involves working two consecutive days per week, Monday-Friday from 8a-5p, primarily managing gynecology cases in an outpatient clinic setting, with some obstetrics. The physician will provide comprehensive patient care through a mix of routine preventative wellness, acute problem-focused visits, and chronic disease management, and may cover for laborist absences if needed, ensuring continuous patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work two consecutive days per week, with duties split between clinic and OR based on patient volumes.
• Provide predominantly GYN services in the clinic, with the potential to see OB patients.
• Manage a mix of routine preventative wellness, acute problem-focused visits, and chronic disease management.
• Handle obstetrics including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care, and gynecology focusing on general female reproductive health.
• Perform deliveries for personal OB patients without mandatory call after day shift, and be open to covering for laborist absences in rare circumstances.
• Do not perform deliveries under 28 weeks.
