Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Missouri

We are actively seeking a dedicated Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 60-day assignment in Missouri. This role involves day and night shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM) in a hospital-based OB ED setting. The incoming physician will manage a diverse range of responsibilities including low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and routine deliveries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low-risk pregnancies
• Manage high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening viability, Level II/Targeted anatomic)
• Perform Amniocentesis
• Conduct routine deliveries

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• No call required
• Patients per day: 40-60
• LOA: 60 days
• Staffing Mix: The OB ED has one physician 24/7, supplemented by Advanced Practice Providers (PAs, NPs, and Midwives) who work 12-18 hours a day and manage patients in the 12-bed ED.
