Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in NC

Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician for a brief 3-day assignment starting Jul 31, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) with responsibilities including 1-2 admissions per day and performing a range of procedures such as C-sections, hysterectomies, and vaginal deliveries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform 1-2 admissions per day
• Provide out-of-house call coverage
• Conduct procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, circumcisions, post-partum tubal ligations, vaginal deliveries, D&Cs, and laparotomies for ectopic pregnancies
• Manage cases within a facility featuring 3 labor rooms, 16 patient rooms, and 6 newborn beds
• Contribute to a service averaging 30-40 deliveries per month
• Work 24-hour shifts from 7a-7a

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Facility supported by 2 AWHONN Fetal Monitoring instructors
