Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in North Carolina

We are seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Nov 25, 2024. This role involves out-of-house call coverage, managing deliveries, conducting phone consults, and performing emergency gynecological surgeries, with shifts scheduled from Nov 25-30 and Dec 7-10.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Out of house call coverage with a 30 minute report time
• Managing approximately 300 deliveries per year
• Handling 1-2 phone consults per day
• Performing low risk deliveries
• Providing care within a Level II Nursery (32+ weeks)
• Conducting emergency surgeries including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and tubal ligation
• Addressing low risk pregnancy cases
• Performing Level I/Screening (viability) procedures
• Conducting routine deliveries and C-Sections
• Performing emergency GYN surgeries
