Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an impactful 90-day assignment, commencing Nov 25, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive out-of-house call coverage, managing approximately 300 deliveries annually, supporting a Level II Nursery, and performing a range of emergency gynecological surgeries.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide out-of-house call coverage with a 30-minute report time
  • Conduct 1-2 phone consults per day
  • Oversee low-risk deliveries and cases involving a Nursery (32+ weeks)
  • Perform emergency surgeries including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and tubal ligation
  • Handle various cases such as low risk pregnancy, Level I/Screening (viability), routine delivery, and C-sections
  • Address emergency GYN surgeries
