Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Oregon

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 125-day assignment in Oregon. Our client offers a flexible schedule, with options for 4x10s or 5x8s plus call, and the current schedule includes two clinic days and two surgery days per week. In this role, you will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, encompassing prenatal and postpartum services, various deliveries, routine gynecologic exams, and a wide range of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including patient evaluations.
• Perform prenatal and postpartum care.
• Conduct vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Perform VBACs.
• Execute routine gynecologic exams and Pap tests.
• Conduct colposcopy and LEEP procedures.
• Perform hysterectomy and ovarian cyst removal.
• Execute hysteroscopy, D&C, and endometrial ablation.
• Perform tubal ligation and salpingectomy.
• Conduct diagnostic laparoscopy.
• Provide ectopic pregnancy treatment.
• Perform Da Vinci robotic surgical cases.
• Handle clinic office visits and routine GYN care.
• Perform office procedures such as EMB, colposcopy, and IUD insertion.
• Offer physician support for midwives and Nurse Practitioners.
• Perform all OB/GYN surgeries, including robotic surgery.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• EMR: Athenahealth
• Requirements: Surgically trained with robotic surgical experience.
• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient (Clinic and Call)
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, approximately 8 days a month, backing up midwives and available for C-sections and emergencies (one day per week and one weekend per month).
• Patients per day: 16-20 patients per day, varying with appointment and procedure type.
• LOA: 125 Days
• Staffing Mix: Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and full support staff in the OB/GYN department.
