Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in OR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 125-day assignment in Oregon, starting Nov 2, 2026. The schedule will consist of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, complemented by call responsibilities. This role involves providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal and postpartum care, various deliveries, routine gynecologic exams, and a wide range of surgical procedures, with a focus on robotic surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide prenatal and postpartum care.
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs.
• Conduct routine gynecologic exams and Pap tests.
• Execute office procedures including EMB, colposcopy, and IUD insertion.
• Perform surgical procedures such as Colposcopy, LEEP, Hysterectomy, Ovarian cyst removal, Hysteroscopy/D&C ± endometrial ablation, Tubal ligation, salpingectomy, and Diagnostic laparoscopy.
• Manage ectopic pregnancy treatment.
• Perform Da Vinci robotic surgical cases.
• Offer comprehensive OB/GYN care, patient evaluations, and complex gynecologic care.
• Collaborate with midwives, nurses, anesthesia, and other clinical team members.
• Provide physician support for midwives and Nurse Practitioners.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Experience with Athenahealth EMR.
• Practice includes both clinic office visits and a full scope of OB/GYN surgeries, including robotic surgery.
• Call schedule is required.
• Expected patient volume ranges from 16 to 20 patients per day.
• Work alongside midwives and Nurse Practitioners, with collaborative support from nurses and anesthesia.
• Surgically trained with robotic surgical experience.
