Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Oregon

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 120-day assignment in Oregon. This role involves a Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm clinic schedule, supplemented by 24-hour standby call coverage for emergency department backup on select dates. The Physician will be responsible for providing clinic and call coverage, managing approximately 12-14 patients per day, and responding promptly to facility calls during standby shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive clinic and call coverage for OB/GYN cases.
• Manage 12-14 patients per day in the clinic setting.
• Respond to facility calls in a timely manner during 24-hour standby call coverage.
• Handle typical OBGYN cases, including deliveries and c-sections, with an average of 15 deliveries per month.
• Focus primarily on OB cases in clinic, including 6-month post-appointment follow-ups.
• Be available to see urgent OB clinic visits as needed.

• Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, 24-hour call 7 am – 7 am, with emergency call coverage for 10-14 days per month.
• Patients per day: 12-14 PPD/ 15 deliveries per month
• LOA: 120 Days
• Staffing Mix: Family Medicine or Pediatrician available for assistance; includes midwife and NP.
