Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 14-day assignment in Texas, starting Nov 1, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call shifts, primarily focusing on managing low to medium risk pregnancies and performing an average of one delivery per day within our client's Maternal care unit.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide obstetric and gynecological care within a Maternal care unit.
  • Manage low to medium risk pregnancies.
  • Perform approximately 1 to 3 deliveries per day.
  • Respond to 24-hour call requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with dedicated OB Nurses.
  • Execute routine OB competency procedures.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
  • Call schedule involves 24-hour shifts.
  • The unit handles approximately 60 to 65 deliveries per month.
  • Staffing mix includes OB Nurses, without PAs or NPs.
