Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Texas

Our client is seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for an urgent 8-day assignment in Texas, with coverage needed starting Jun 26, 2024. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, including managing complicated deliveries, performing C-sections, handling surgical gynecology procedures, and overseeing various obstetric cases during specified blocks in June, July, and August.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage complicated deliveries, including breech and multiple births
• Perform C-sections and address abruptions
• Execute procedures such as cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Conduct surgical gynecology, including VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Manage low-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation, NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct Level I/Screening (viability) and amniocentesis
• Oversee routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Make informed decisions regarding C-section requirements
