Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in Texas

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Dec 24, 2024. This role involves comprehensive holiday call coverage, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, focusing on managing low-risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate interpretation, and handling routine and complicated deliveries for our client.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct Level I/Screening (viability) procedures
• Execute routine deliveries
• Handle complicated deliveries

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• EMR Systems: Medhost, Athena
• Setting: Call Only
• Call Schedule: Out of house call for holiday coverage
• Patients per Day: 2-4
• LOA: 5 Days
• Staffing Mix: 3-4 RNs
