Job Description

Our client in Vermont is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 9-day assignment starting Jan 15, 2027. This role involves 24-hour out-of-house call, including independent inpatient rounding and a broad scope of OB/GYN duties ranging from routine prenatal care and childbirth services to various gynecological procedures and management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24 hour out of house call with independent inpatient rounding
  • Offer routine prenatal care
  • Conduct childbirth education classes
  • Perform lactation consultation
  • Attempt VBACs when appropriate
  • Ensure 24/7 coverage of labor and delivery
  • Administer epidurals upon request 24/7
  • Perform minimally invasive surgery
  • Treat urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse
  • Evaluate infertility
  • Provide comprehensive family planning and contraceptive counseling
  • Manage abnormal pap smears
  • Evaluate and treat pelvic pain
  • Manage vulvar disease
  • Conduct annual well women examinations
  • Treat menstrual abnormalities
  • Screen and treat sexually transmitted diseases
