Locum Tenens Physician - Ophthalmologist Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina for a 104-day assignment in Missouri. Our client offers a flexible schedule, ideally 3-5 days per week with a preference for four, primarily covering multiple outpatient clinic locations. This role focuses on providing intravitreal injections to an an established patient base, managing conditions like pain, swelling, and bleeding.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform intravitreal injections for medical retina patients.
• Manage and treat conditions requiring regular injections to relieve pain, reduce swelling, and stop bleeding.
• Provide care to a large, established patient base with ongoing treatment needs.

• Outpatient setting (Clinic Only)
• Patient volume: 25-50 per day
• LOA: 104 Days
• Staffing mix: Typically 2 scribes, 3-4 technicians, a tester, and front office staff per office.
