Locum Tenens Physician - Ophthalmologist Needed in Washington

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist Physician for a 10-day assignment in Washington, commencing Sep 1, 2024. This role encompasses clinical-only duties, typically 7-8 hours daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no emergency calls after business hours or weekends. The physician will oversee office operations, conduct comprehensive clinical exams, perform laser procedures, administer intraocular injections, and manage retinal conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Run the office while the owner/doctor is out of the country.
• Perform clinical exams.
• Conduct laser procedures.
• Administer intraocular injections.
• Manage be scanned procedures.
• Address retinal problems.
• Perform intraocular injections and retinal laser procedures in office.

Additional Information

• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No call required.
• Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patients per day.
• LOA: 10 Days
• Staffing Mix: 4 techs, front office, Biller and Bookkeeper off site.
