Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in MT

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 240-day assignment in Montana. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, where you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine exams for all ages, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of various ocular conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Conduct contact lens fittings and training
• Perform diabetic eye exams
• Monitor and manage glaucoma
• Evaluate and manage dry eye conditions
• Diagnose and treat red eye/conjunctivitis
• Conduct foreign body evaluations and removals
• Provide post-operative cataract/LASIK co-management
• Offer vision therapy and low vision services
• Manage urgent care cases, including flashes, floaters, and eye pain
