Our client in North Carolina is actively seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a 124-day assignment commencing Oct 19, 2026. This position involves performing a comprehensive scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, with typical shifts running from approximately 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful Dentist will provide vital coverage, demonstrating flexibility to support various practice locations and managing a diverse range of cases, from routine extractions to complex implant placements and treatment of facial trauma.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, including:
• Simple and Surgical Extractions
• Wisdom Teeth / Impacted Tooth Removal
• Dental Implant Placement
• Bone Grafting
• Alveoloplasty
• Incision and Drainage of Dental Abscesses
• Biopsies / Oral Lesion Removal
• Frenectomy
• Exposure and Bonding of Impacted Teeth
• Pre-Prosthetic Surgery
• Treatment of Facial/Dental Trauma
• Cyst Removal / Enucleation
• Sinus Lifts
• Apicoectomy
• Administer IV Sedation / General Anesthesia
• Provide care for Medicaid patients

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is required.
• EMR: Dentrix.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling between practice locations based on scheduling and coverage needs.
