Job Description

Our client in Alaska is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Oct 12, 2026. This role involves comprehensive outpatient clinical work, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm. The Physician will focus on non-operative musculoskeletal medicine, spine evaluations, and managing joint and soft tissue conditions, contributing significantly to patient care within a supportive environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Outpatient Clinical Work Only
  • Work Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
  • Clinical Focus
  • Non-operative musculoskeletal medicine
  • Spine evaluations and management
  • Joint and soft tissue conditions
  • Electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) preferred but not required
  • Ultrasound-guided injections preferred
  • Access to an accredited ambulatory surgery center for fluoroscopically guided spinal procedures
  • Performance of spinal injections and nerve blocks is preferred but not required, including:
  • Epidural steroid injections
  • Facet joint injections
  • Medial branch blocks
  • Sacroiliac joint injections
  • Selective nerve root blocks
  • Opportunity to develop and expand interventional spine services
