We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 120-day assignment in NY. The schedule primarily involves working 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch. This role includes 10 patients per day on Thursdays and Fridays, with precepting hours Monday through Wednesday, as well as participation in a 1:7 call schedule. The Physician will manage new consults and a variety of mental health conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide psychiatric care to approximately 10 patients per day on Thursdays and Fridays
Engage in precepting hours Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Participate in a 1:7 call schedule, equating to one week of call every seven weeks
Conduct new consults, typically one per day
Treat patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and PTSD
Address substance-use disorders and manage suicidal ideation or crisis situations
