Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Nov 10, 2025. The opportunity offers a flexible schedule of either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with 6:30am to 4:00pm shifts. The Psychologist will provide leadership and clinical oversight for mental health programs within a correctional facility, conducting evaluations and coordinating care to promote positive patient outcomes.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
- Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
- Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
- Conduct rounds in all units
- Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
- Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Arizona license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required
- Experience in corrections is preferred, but not required
- Assignment start date depends on completion of DOC clearance and required documentation
