Locum Tenens Physician - Pulmonologist Needed in KY

Job Description

Our client in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Pulmonologist for a 70-day assignment beginning Aug 18, 2026. This role involves a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 8-5 shifts, primarily covering pulmonology consults and cases in a ICU. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various critical care procedures including intubation, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, central/arterial line placement, ventilator management, and tube thoracostomy.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cover pulmonology consults and cases in a ICU.
• Perform oral/nasal intubation.
• Perform thoracentesis.
• Perform bronchoscopy with biopsy.
• Perform central venous line placement.
• Perform arterial line placement.
• Perform arterial puncture.
• Manage ventilators.
• Perform tube thoracostomy.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Pulmonary Disease required.
• EMR System: Meditech EHR.
