Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist for a 10-day assignment in California, starting Aug 1, 2026. The selected physician will provide comprehensive radiation oncology services, including treatment planning, brachytherapy procedures, external beam therapy, and various specialized radiation techniques, with the schedule to be determined.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform required procedures including Brachytherapy (Intracavitary, Interstitial, Vascular/Endovascular, LDR - Low dose rate, LDR - high dose rate).
  • Conduct External Beam Therapy - EBRT using Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, and Superficial/Orthovoltage.
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS (all types including Cyber knife and Gamma knife), IORT, TBI, TSE, and Hyper altered fractionation.
  • Execute treatment planning including Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping MLC, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, and Electronic Portal Imaging EPI.
  • Participate in Clinical Trials.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
  • Shift hours to be determined.
