Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma Needed in WA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Trauma Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment in Washington. The incoming professional will manage trauma and acute care surgery patients, provide initial responses in the emergency department, admit patients, offer surgical assistance, and manage post-discharge clinic duties during 12-hour day shifts, four days a week.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients.
• Respond to traumas, potentially as the first responder in the Emergency Department if a trauma surgeon is in the operating room.
• Admit patients to the service line, including the ICU.
• Provide surgical assistance.
• Prepare for, run, and manage post-discharge clinics two days a week.

• Clinical responsibilities include a mix of inpatient care, emergency department response, and outpatient clinic management.
