Job Description

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in North Carolina for a 90-day assignment, commencing Oct 13, 2026. This vital role requires you to function as the sole provider in an Urgent Care Center, managing high patient volumes while seeing adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and up. Your responsibilities will include performing various minor procedures and meticulously documenting all visits using Epic EMR.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider in an Urgent Care Center.
  • See and treat all patients, including adults and pediatrics (6 months and up).
  • Manage high volume patient care, averaging 45 patients per day, up to 60.
  • Perform procedures such as lac repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all patient visits and documentation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR system.
  • Exhibit strong soft skills when interacting with patients and staff.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), Urgent Care.
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience is required; no new graduates will be considered.
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 20 days.
