Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day assignment in Texas, starting Jul 8, 2026. This role involves working as the sole provider, handling a variety of urgent care cases and procedures, including laceration repair, I&D, and foreign body removal. Shifts will be 8 and/or 12 hours, with expectations to close charts by the end of each shift. Candidates must be ready to hit the ground running, with no clinical training provided.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work as the sole provider for all urgent care cases and procedures.
  • Be ready to hit the ground running with no clinical training provided.
  • Close all charts by the end of each shift.
  • Handle B&B urgent care cases.
  • Perform in-office procedures common to an urgent care setting, such as I&D, sutures, foreign body removal, toe nail removal, and laceration repair.
  • Potentially provide occupational medicine services including workplace injuries, evaluations, and drug testing.
