Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 30-day assignment in New Jersey, beginning Oct 17, 2026. This role involves managing urgent care and COVID-related cases, including procedures such as suturing and splinting, during 8-4 shifts. The Physician will provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring all patients are seen and charts are thoroughly completed and signed by the end of each shift.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver comprehensive urgent care to patients.
• Manage and treat COVID-related cases.
• Execute medical procedures including suturing and splinting.
• Provide care for all patients presenting before closing, which is 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends.
• Ensure all patient charts are fully completed, signed, and include a diagnosis within working hours to avoid documentation kickbacks.
