Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a 4-day assignment in New Jersey, starting Oct 10, 2026. This role involves daily shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, with a commitment to seeing all patients, potentially extending beyond scheduled hours on weekdays until 8 PM and weekends until 4 PM. Responsibilities include comprehensive urgent care, managing COVID cases, performing suturing and splinting, and ensuring timely completion of all patient charts with accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services
• Manage and treat COVID cases
• Perform suturing and splinting procedures
• Ensure all patients are seen prior to departure, even if extending past scheduled shift end times (until 8 PM on weekdays and 4 PM on weekends)
• Complete, sign, and accurately diagnose all patient charts during working hours to prevent any kickbacks
