Job Description
Our client in Illinois is actively seeking a skilled Urology Physician for an 80-day assignment beginning May 25, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage across multiple small facilities, focusing on bread and butter urological cases. You will manage ER consults, potential follow-up patient clinic visits, and a normal acute mix of conditions such as stones, retention, and hematuria, primarily providing 24-hour call coverage from 7 PM to 7 PM each shift.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour call coverage at multiple facilities.
- Manage bread and butter urological cases, excluding major trauma or severe procedures.
- Conduct ER consults.
- Potentially see follow-up patients in clinic for their own patients.
- Handle acute care urology cases including stones, retention, and hematuria.
- Average 2-3 consults per day along with phone calls from the ER.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 PM to 7 PM each shift.
