We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Urology for a 60-day assignment in Michigan, starting around Jul 22, 2024. This role involves 24-hour call coverage with an expectation of 7-10 shifts per month, offering week-long stretches and long weekends. The Physician will manage common hospital procedures such as kidney stones, consults on CBI, stents, hematuria, and difficult cath placements, alongside patient consultations and rounding on new admissions and inpatients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage common hospital procedures including kidney stones, consults on CBI, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements.
Provide patient consultations and address on-call questions, transfers, and consult inquiries.
Perform rounding on new admissions and any inpatients requiring care.
Handle discharge responsibilities, including for new admissions and any inpatients requiring discharge.
Provide 24-hour call coverage, with an expected on-site presence of 2-4 hours per day for rounding.
