Locum Tenens CRNA - VT Needed in Vermont

Our client in Vermont seeks a dedicated Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment. The role features 12-hour day shifts, 7am - 7pm, with required call and weekend duties. This position involves general adult anesthesiology within a collaborative care team model, managing a broad spectrum of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI/endoscopy, GYN, vascular, and trauma/emergency cases, from pre-op assessment to PACU handoff.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general adult anesthesiology in an academic tertiary/Level I trauma center
• Work within a care team model, collaborating with other medical professionals
• Manage a broad adult anesthesia case mix including general surgery, orthopedics/complex ortho, ENT, urology, GI/endoscopy, GYN, vascular, and trauma/emergency cases
• Perform regional anesthesia/blocks, general anesthesia, MAC/sedation, and neuraxial anesthesia
• Conduct pre-operative assessments, manage anesthesia during procedures, and ensure smooth emergence and PACU handoff

• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN); Basic Life Support (BLS)
