Locum Tenens Physician - Anesthesiologist Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 240-day assignment starting Feb 1, 2027, in New York. The physician will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a minimum of two weeks per month. This role involves supervising CRNAs and managing 8-12 patients daily, with duties encompassing a diverse case mix, including a requirement for comfort with OB and healthy pediatric cases, and no cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide Anesthesiology services Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Supervise CRNA staff during procedures.
• Manage a patient volume of 8-12 cases per day.
• Demonstrate comfort with Obstetric and healthy pediatric cases.
• Handle a variety of cases including Opthalmology, GI, Endo, Ortho sport, ENT, General, Neuro, Spine, vascular, and some pediatric cases.
• Commit to a minimum of two weeks per month for this assignment.
