Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiologist Physician for a 90-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Nov 16, 2026. This role involves providing essential cardiology care during evening and night shifts (8P – 6A, 8P – 7A, 5P – 7A, 5P – 6A). The successful candidate will focus on consults, E&M services, and reading echo and nuclear studies, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide consults upon request and E&M services only, with no procedures required.
• Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital.
• Deliver care for patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare.
• Maintain a manual log of all charges as required.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
