Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiologist Needed in NC

Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Cardiologist for an engaging 90-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Nov 16, 2026. This role involves night shifts and focuses on providing essential consults, evaluation and management services, and interpreting echo and nuclear studies for patients, without performing procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide expert cardiology consults and evaluation and management services, without performing procedures.
• Interpret Echo and nuclear studies performed within the hospital setting.
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients under our client's heart care program.
• Maintain a manual log of all patient charges accurately.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiology is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Typical shifts include 8 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 7 AM, 5 PM to 7 AM, or 5 PM to 6 AM.
