Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide acute care to patients presenting with emergent medical conditions
• Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies in accordance with facility protocols
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely
• Adhere to all relevant state and facility guidelines for emergency medical practice

Additional Information

• Must have at least 3 years of recent emergency medicine experience
• Required licenses: Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license
• Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
• Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
