Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 20-day assignment in Indiana, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This role involves delivering comprehensive emergency medicine coverage across various shifts, typically managing 6-10 patient encounters per shift within a department, and working with extensive 24-hour support services.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine coverage for patients in the ED.
  • Manage 6-10 patient encounters per shift.
  • Work within a emergency department.
  • Utilize 24-hour support services including Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Work in an ED that includes an L&D department, with no newborn deliveries occurring in the ED.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: Emergency Medicine
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Shift Hours: Various shifts available including 6 AM - 3 PM, 9 AM - 5 PM, 2 PM - 11 PM, 4 PM - 12 AM, 9 PM - 6 AM, and 10 PM - 7 AM.
