Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 20-day assignment with our client in Indiana. This role, starting Sep 28, 2026, involves working 8 and 9-hour shifts in a busy emergency department. The physician will provide comprehensive emergency care, supporting a wide range of services including anesthesia, various surgeries, and radiology, while managing an average daily census of 129 patients. No newborn deliveries are required in the ED.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency medical care, including support services in Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Neuro-Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Manage a high-volume emergency department with an average daily census of 129 patients.
  • Conduct rounding as required.
  • Adhere to 8-hour and 9-hour shift schedules.
  • Participate in the L&D department services; no newborn deliveries required in the ED.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
  • EMR system utilized is Cerner.
