Job Description

Our client is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Aug 17, 2026. This role involves comprehensive emergency care, including various procedures like intubations and fracture reductions, across a diverse patient population. The physician will work alongside an advanced practice provider, contributing to a facility, ensuring 24-hour physician coverage.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and I and D procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care within the scope of an emergency medicine residency-trained physician.
  • Manage trauma cases.
  • Care for a patient population ranging from pediatric to adult and geriatric age groups.
  • Address acute to emergent and trauma cases.
  • Work alongside advanced practice providers (APPs) and sign off on APP cases.
  • Contribute to an emergency department.
  • Ensure 24-hour physician coverage and 12-hour APP coverage daily.
  • Coordinate admissions through our Hospitalist and Specialties Groups.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
  • EMR: Cerner.
  • No vent management required.
