We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day assignment in Kentucky. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of primary, chronic, and preventative care cases, including sick calls, follow-ups, and infirmary rounds, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed
Conduct rounds in the infirmary when required
Manage sick call and perform patient rounds
Execute chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups
Lead preventative care clinics
Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
Conduct trauma triage
Accurately chart patient notes
Manage medication refills
Address patient medication non-compliance
Provide primary care services for common conditions
Manage chronic care cases including asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia
Perform preventative care examinations, including annual physicals
Treat acute sick call cases such as runny nose, headaches, and back pain
Execute splinting and suturing procedures
Provide support for foot clinics and infirmary care
