Our client in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day assignment. This full-time, Monday - Friday role operates from 8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The provider will be responsible for a range of duties including sick call, rounding in the infirmary, managing chronic and preventative care procedures, and comprehensive charting.
Responsibilities and Duties
May supervise APPs
May round in infirmary
Conduct sick call and rounding
Run chronic and preventative care procedures and follow ups
Lead preventative care clinics
May be called upon for infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
Perform trauma triage
Complete charting notes
Process med refills
Address med non-compliance with patients

Cases include bread and butter primary care, chronic care (asthma, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia), preventative care (annual physical exams), sick call (runny nose, headaches, back pain), splinting and suturing, and infirmary care.
